Juncus repens, commonly known as creeping rush, is a perennial grass-like plant with slender, green stems that form creeping mats or dense clumps. It grows best in moist or wet soil in full sun to partial shade and is commonly found in wetlands, marshes, and along stream banks. Its small flowers are brownish-green and bloom from May to July. It is used in gardening and landscaping for erosion control and as a ground cover.
